Do you have a blank wall in your condo or house and have a ton of photos and/or artworks? One great idea is organize them by creating a gallery wall as your focal point. Or, depending on how many of these spaces you have, create several collages and small focal points using your creative juices!
Here are 5 quick steps to get you started:
1 — Prep your wall: Make your blank wall as smooth as possible by sanding, painting or patching. You should also mark the center of the wall to make it uniform.
2 — Time to gather: collect all your art and photos you would like to put up. Try to make your wall with some similarities. E.g., color, places, family, frames, emotions, etc.
3 — Create some templates: Use old magazines or newspaper clippings according to the size of your art and photos. This will help you find where to place it on your wall.
4 — Make marks for your frame: with the templates you created, use this to make marks where your frame will be nailed to the wall.
5 — Arrange your wall with the templates: after you made your marks, hang this templates to your preference. Leave it all for awhile and once you love where it hangs, place the actual artwork or photo.
